Manual Handling Training Course
In 2018 the HSE released an update on manual handling training which has attracted little attention. It does however mark a significant change in the recommended approach for manual handling training away from video or generic training to a more comprehensive approach which means that training should take place wherever possible in the real workplace and addresses the real issues that the employees face. It also puts an increase emphasis on the individual’s duty of care to look after themselves and their colleagues whilst performing manual handling tasks.
We therefore tailor fit all our manual handling training programs to our customers’ requirements ranging from a light touch approach for low risk workers to an intense course for workers in high manual handling risk occupations.
